Invasive signal crayfish versus „our“ noble crayfish. Is it possible to eradicate this non-native crayfish species from Czech nature? And what are the perspectives for our native species in the future? The scientists from the Laboratory of Freshwater ecosystems look for the answers to this questions throught the experiment they introduce in the video. They verify the method of eradication – total removal of invasive crayfish species population – in the 450 metres long part of Křesanovský brook near the town Vimperk and they monitor the influence of signal crayfish on native noble crayfish.
