The Laboratory of X-ray Tomography in Telc, the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, performed a quick snapshot of the dynamic process - a model of the human esophagus. Thanks to the patented TORATOM tomograph, it was possible to take over 60 images per second from two perpendicular directions at the same time. The measurement, which was carried out in collaboration with the NATIONAL LABORATORY FOR ADDITIVE AND DIGITAL MANUFACTURING (MADiT) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, will allow a more accurate characterization of the function of the esophageal model.
