In April the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters USB dealt not only with research but also with the care for the environment. We planted 24 trees by the dam of the Dolní pond. After that, we focused on the protection of waters and we cleaned about 7 km of the Blanice river. In total, more than 600 kg of waste was removed. There were mainly PET bottles, polystyrene, sanitary napkins, pneumatics, and other interesting things.  We believe that trout and grayling will now have a better life in our area and fishermen will have a better fishing experience.
