The Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Czech Republic has extensive experience with organising national and international workshops and conferences.

From January 2014, the conferences are organized at new MEVPIS centre of the FFPW USB in Vodňany. The MEVPIS /IEEAIC/ offers new, modern and fully-equipped lecture rooms with total capacity of 170 people, nice accommodation in 18 rooms (capacity of 35 people), canteen (48 seats). We can provide also catering services. Wi-fi connection is for free in whole building.

We offer tours of the workplaces of the Faculty of Fisheries and Protection of Waters USB for schools and educational institutions. Excursions are realized from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. Only for pre-booked groups, especially schools. Excursions to our workplaces are accompanied by expert commentary and demonstration of live fish and crayfish. For schools, interest groups and others, we are organizing educational units which can be adapted according to the participants´ wishes - thematic comments, practical illustrations, films, games related to the topic of fisheries and aquatic environment.
