Listing and Assigning of Bachelor and Diploma Theses at the FFPW USB in the Academic Year 2021/2022

Dear colleagues,

please send me, by 19.11.2021 at the latest, the themes of the final (bachelor / diploma) theses for academic year 2021/2022.

Excerpt from the Dean's Measure No. 28/2021:
1) Until November 19th, 2021, the academic staff of the faculty or PhD students shall send the topics of final thesis (bachelor/diploma theses) to Mrs. Plecerová: plecerova@frov.jcu.cz. For the topic of work, it is necessary to specify whether it is a topic for bachelor theses or for diploma theses and also the field of study for which the the theses is intended (Fisheriy, Protection of Waters, Fishery and Protection of Waters). Each of the academic workers at the IAPW and the RIFCH with the main employment at the FFPW USB dealing with scientific activities must list at least 1 topic. Workers without a PhD (or equivalent), and PhD students can list only bachelor thesis topics. Form of assignment protocol here
2) on November 24th, 2021, all listed topics will be published on this page
3) Until January 7th, 2022 students have to choose one of the offered theses' topics and register it with the relevant supervisor (Dean's Decision No. 28/2021 - see above.) Select the topic from the list and contact the subject proposer, agree with the subject proposer If the topic is still free and whether he/she accepts you on the topic, or the date of the meeting or other facts. The student is obligated to choose another supervisor and/or topic when the current topic of the thesis or the capacity of supervisor will not be available. After the agreement of the supervisor and the student, the thesis's supervisor notifies Ing. Plecerová by an email about assignment of the topic with the student's name. The number of assignment of the topics must not exceed laboratory capacity.
4) Failure to fulfill the student's obligation to agree on the topic of the final thesis may be considered as non-fulfillment of the requirements resulting from the study program according to the Study and Examination Rules of the JU in accordance with § 56 par. b) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions
5) by January 21st, 2022 will be sent by the teacher electronically Ing. Plecerová documents for the processing of the input protocol on selected topics.
6) By February 25th, 2022, the study center will process the protocols and send them to the signatures
7) The assignment report is an integral part of the bachelor's / master's thesis.
